DCT calendar

Hi all,

I have come to an situation whereby the client want to have a calendar picklist in the DCT for the date field.

where by I come across this article 53105 from the Interwoven Support site.
in the article, they provided a perl script and describe it as a solution for the DCT-calendar.

but when I place the perl script into iw-home/bin and use the DCT cgi-callout command to launch the calendar, it gave me this error message:

The script has to be placed in iwhome/httpd/iw-bin/ not iwhome/bin/

on Create.txt

anyhow I still receiving another error message after replacing the perl script into iw-bin

could it be the CGI-callout command error? here is it:

The code you posted showed the URL as:

/iw-bin/new_calendar.ipl/allow_past_dates=0

The screenshot you posted shows you trying to run:

iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi/z_calendar.ipl

Those are not the same things - and frankly I think you have to go through a bit more in order to try and run a CGI program from the command line in order to get reasonable diagnostics.

Instead - posting the code of the new_calendar.ipl (attachement preferred) and/or checking the logdir/iwui/ error log (I don't remember its name right now, just that it tends to be different on Windows than it is on Unix) should help determine the problem.

The usual source of this problem - in my experience - is having some form of output occur prior to the Content-type: header being sent to STDOUT.

(and no, there's no way to move a post from one forum to another - but you might consider posting information such as the above as a new thread in either the FormsPublisher forum or Perl forum)

when I go check the iw-webd logs error, I got this message:
