6.7.1 server stop/start problem

We have TS6.7.1 on Solaris 10.

whenever we use ./iw.server stop or start commands, its seems like the server is neither stopping or starting... it would take us to the prompt immediately we press enter....

I tired to kill a process of iwauthen and then it worked.

Before trying to kill the process, when I used iwreset -a it seemed to Intialize the UI.

Could anyone plz let me knw what would be the problem. Any kind of suggestions would be really appreciated.

Are you running the command as root (or via sudo)?
Are you running the command from /etc/init.d/ ?
Have you looked through the various log files to see if any errors show up when you do this (e.g. iwserver.log, iwtrace.log)

I am running as "root" and through /etc/init.d

There is nothing much in the logs when these commands are run.

Kindly check the servletd.log file.

If errors in servletd.log then there needs to be a change in iwetcboot script.
Let me know what exact error you are receiving in servletd.log file
