Team Site 6.5 Installation Problem with Windows 2003 Server OS

Hello!

After the Teamsite 6.5 installation with Windows 2003 Server, i am unable to generate/preview the DCTs.

I get the following error

HTTP Error 401.1 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

I would like to know is there any specific IIS Configuration for the windows 2003 server.

Did you do some manual changes in IIS settings? If you open Internet Information Manager, you should be able to see iw-mount Virtual Directory created under Default Web Site. Check the properties and see if anonymous access has been enabled for user TSIMP_ user and if that user is created on the system.

Or did someone change the password for the TSIMP_<host-name> user?
Or is TSIMP_<host-name> not a member of the webserver_group defined in the iw.cfg file?

There are probably some other possibilities - but those come to mind right now.

I'm having a similar problem with a new install of 6.7.1. did you ever resolve this issue?

We had a similar issue that we resolved yesterday, and as stated above, it was related to the TSIMP_server user account. Be sure that the password entered for the anonymous access in the IIS manager matches the user account's password. If you need to, reset the user account's password and then re-enter it in IIS Manager. Once we did that, our issue cleared up.
