MediaBin Reporting

I have some questions about reporting functionality available in 4.5.3. As you may know the accompanying documentation is really poor. Does anyone know of some good documentation that exists?

I have questions around what reporting functionality is available. More particularly is there anything which documents user activity / productivity?

Did you try looking at the views that are provided OOTB on the DB from SQL Enterprise Manager or something? Though the documentation isnt the best when you execute the views its very self explanatory.

Is this for MediaBin 4.5 too or just 4.5.3.

Am I right in saying there is no 'user friendly' reporting tooloffered through the MediaBin front end and this is actually based on views on the SQL server? and this would require something like crystal reports or something to make the data look presentable?

The views are only available in 4.5.3 and not earlier. Yes you would have to build your own front end or use a tool to view this.

Having said that Interwoven's CSO has done numerous reporting customizations at various big name clients and they are using it successfully. Please contact your AE/ESE for more information on this.
