UNC paths deployments

I am trying to deploy to a unc path using OD 6.0.2 SP1 (Win 2k3)

Has anybody tried doing that recently?

Have not tried recently, that was not supported in 5.5, but I never heard of 6.X supporting it.

Try it and see, how about mounting it on a drive letter ?

UNC is a SAN location right? We have deployed to SAN locations before, all you have to do is specify the name of the SAN location and the correct path for deployemnts in your configuration files.

UNC stands for "Universal Naming Convention". It's a concept, a syntax if you wish.
It has nothing whatever to do to any particular media, SAN or otherwise

Not personally, however, UNC path deployments are run by our automated regression test suite that is run on all releases and even on "development" builds so that we try to make sure we don't break anything when we make changes to the code.

If you're having a problem, let us know what it is... Attach the deployment configuration, etc.
