Customize The Ccpro Directory List..

Hi All,
my env,
TS 6.5 SP2
here is what I need to do,
right now the directory list in ccpro shows a list of files with attributes as 'Name', 'Modified By' , 'Modified' etc.
There is a requirement to show fields from the file(dcr) itslef for each row in the list.
so, whenever the list gets rendered it would show say for example short summary/short headline(these are the fields from the DCR..) below the file name.
I have gone through the UI customization guide for 6.5 but didnt find anything around this..
plz let me know if this is possible and if yes then how to achieve it..
if not then does any other coming releases will support his?

I can't say for sure, but I don't think that functionality is possible - nor would it be particularly recommended as it would probably be an incredible performance degrader (imagine a list with over 100 files in it, in which each file not only has to be stat'd to get information about owner and modification time, but also has to be opened and parsed to see if it can find the data you want to expose - and has to deal gracefully with the absence of such data and with binary files and such).

I could see making a custom menu item for doing this - that only processed DCR data/ directories - avoiding most of the conditional cases - and giving you carte blanche with respect to how to render the information...
