WF basic doubt

Hi

I am new to WF design.Currently in our project we have a WF werein a particular job is initiated by user A and the sane can be reviewed by a group.

The WF is implemented in such a way that an intiator can't approve his job. So eventhough an initiator takes up the task which he has created, the current WF allows him to take up the task and give an option to approve the same.

Could you please help me how to restrict this particular user to approve his own job as well as to give a pop up when he does the same.

it all depends on how the workflow is structured and on your settings and user privileges. From the information that you provided no-one can tell what the issue is
