Search metadata using basic search

Hi,

Can the basic search (top-right box) in WorkSite MP search the metadata of the document? I find that it can only search the filename and description but not the metadata. How to config so that it can search the metadata ?

Please check for advance search option for metadata search. I believe basic search only search the file name, description and the content of the file.

To search on the Metadata values one will have to Install the Interwoven provided Search Module on the Teamsite server.

If you do not want to install the Module(in case). Try writing a CGI ... invoke it from a custom menu in CCPRO and there you can implement a Search Functionality.

We are talking about WorkSite MP searches. There are no additional modules for that.
