Perlscript calling dcer

Dear thread,

I have this Perl script that is invoked from OpenDeploy.

One of the bits the script needs to do is to pull some values from a dcr (the script does not reside in a tpl file, but it's own pl file).

If there is an interwoven way to do this, a code snippet detailing how is highly appreciated. If not, any hints on recommended external XML parsers, and experiences with these in the TeamSite context, would be appreciated.

I see XML:OM and XML:imple already sits on the machine.

OpenDeploy: 6.1.0.0.0 Build 56030
TeamSite: 6.5.0 Service Pack 2
OS: MS Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition, SP1

Hi,

If i am right, you just want to parse the xml file(DCR) in perl and get some information. The answer is XML parsing, either using XML:OM or Simple. XML:imple is good for reading xml into PERL hashes. This has no relation with interwoven.
