Advice needed for Regional Website CMS

hi,

i need to setup a regional website consisting of various asia countries. would the structure serve well?

OPTION 1:
main/ASIA [Branch]
- SG [Sub-Branch]
- DeptName [Workarea]
- etc.
- MY [Sub-Branch]
- etc..

OR

OPTION 2:
main/SG [Branch]
- DeptName [Workarea]
- etc.
main/MY [Branch]
- DeptName [Workarea]
- etc..
etc..

In a recent project we did for a large Singaporean Airline company, we divided the area according to the following
Region
language used in the sector
country
dept
etc

Giving language a higher preference allowed data deploy to work well and helped reduce the number of common assets

The goal when we try to divide sections is to allow maximum use of common assets. Do check your common asset library before adopting the divisions

I'm giving OPTION 1 a shot... we currently do not have multi-LANG sites...
