Opendeploy error (OD 6.0 ,Windows)

Hi

I tried deploying a file from a Teamsite work area on one server to a directory in another server .I got an error message in one log file-
Connection failed : Could not find matching Opendeploy client for(ODBaseservername).
I have checked the odnodes.xml and the odbase.xml .I do not have access to the client server. Please tell what else I can check to locate the problem.

Can you connect to rcvr OD from your client machine ?? Try doing telnet or ping, check OD is running on rcvr machine some basic tests to proceed ahead

We have an OD installation for Dev and one for Prod . The Prod Opendeploy script is running without fail but the Dev gives the error. Ping works from Dev .

try a telnet to the receiver on port 20014 to see if it is listening for deployments. If not check restart the OD service on the receiver

I doubt on odbase and deployment config file as well if od is able to resolve the node name properly.
