I have to get the extenal attribute like "last modified date","author name" inside the user script,can anyone help me in this regard

You didnt provide the complete problem context here what do you mean by user script is this a cgi callout, call server or external task??

Please provide more inputs to get appropriate feedback.

No, its not possible to get the attribute values in javascript. Instead you can fetch them within CGI and pass it in hidden form fields.

However, you have to use CLTs to extract the attribute values.

You have to use callserver or cgi callouts to do this. You can refer to formAPI or template guide to get more information on this.

I want to set them as extended attributes for the DCR.I have used callout but even then its not working and the problem is with the callout that is .ipl file,can u tell me where to look for some example callout files
