6.1 SP1 upgrade to 6.5.0: servletd not starting

I have upgraded from TS 6.1 SP1 to TS 6.5.0 in Windows 2000 SP4. The install failed saying "C:\iw-home\iw-webd\conf\httpd.conf.template does not exist or is not a file" I replaced the file and then the installation failed saying "C:\iw-home\iw-webd\conf\rewrite.conf.template does not exist or is not a file". I replaced that file and the the installation finished successfully. I generated a new key and installed it.

THE PROBLEM:
When I rebooted all the services started except the Servlet Engine. I have tried everything I can think of reading manuals and sifting through devnet. I have checked all the logs and I can't see anything that stands out. When I try to start the service myself I get an error stating that it "Could not start the Intervoven Servlet Engine on Local Computer. The service did not return an error. This could be an internal Windows error or an internal service error. ...". When I check the even viewer there are three entries:

1: The iwservletd service has started
2: The RegQueryValueEx function failed for the following reason: The system cannot find the file specified.
3: The iwservletd service failed to start.

Can anyone shed some light on what this could possibly be?

I suggest you contact Support. It sounds like your upgrade failed somewhere and you may have to save your backing store and all customizations, wipe the system, re-install TS from scratch and then restore your backing store and customizations ... but Support might have a better / simpler solution.
