TS services monitoring

Hello all,
we have a box with Teamsite 5.5.2 on w2k. and that box is old and have alot of junk that eats out the memory which causes teamsite to hang or fail once a week or couple weeks. and the solve the issue we always have to reboot the machine. and we are in the processing of upgrading to TS 6.5. but till then, we are trying to get a monitoring tool that will notify us of the status of teamsite if it goes down, or hanging. does anybody have an existing script? or can anybody list a list of iw commands that i can use in batch file to monitor TS services or status? or any ideas to help me out here.

You might want to look into the TeamSite High Availability (HA) module. I've not used it (though I may need to do so soon) - it seems to offer the kind of monitoring you're talking about though.
