Proxy service fails to start when server reboots.
System
OS = Windows Server Standard Edition, SP1
TeamSite version = 6.7.1
Build number = 6075
The proxy service does not start when the server is rebooted. It starts just fine manually.
I've jumped through a
lot
of hoops with IW Support (don't get me wrong, the tech is very patient). We've tweaked files to no end but still the problem persists.
Error messages from the Event Viewer:
1st error:
Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for the Interwoven Proxy service to connect.
2nd error:
The Interwoven Proxy service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know the fix?

I found that the answer is to set the service to manual and start it, well, manually.

from ur last post, does it start automatically now? or do you still have to start it manually everytime?

It does
not
start automatically. If I reboot the server I have to start the proxy service manually.

sometime I have seen 1080 port grabed by other application, which causes this problem.
