Basic Administration questions

How does one delete users, groups, and roles once they are now longer needed. I am able to delete the security templates, but for some reason, cannot do anything with the other objects. I would like to clean this up for easier administration.

must Rename the User is dbAdmin from one user to another.

Groups and Roles can only be deleted through SQL, and only once all foreign key constraint values have been satisfied.

Docauto, can you please elaborate on the steps for deleting a user? Is the final step of the 'rename user' function to delete the old account?

Yes. To merely delete the user would create invalid values for any documents the user was listed as Author or Operator, Folders or other structures that they owned, security ACLs, and so on. Please refer to the dbAdmin documentation for complete information.
