Tuple preprocessor and ddconfig

How can we retrieve the path of the DCR in a tuple preprocessor file?
Can it be done through the 'area' and 'base area' parameters which are passed to it?
What do we get in the 'base area' parameter?

You can pass external parameters also... try this out..
