Env - TS 6.5 SP2 Solaris

I am using set_inner_xml to update a DCR which I have loaded into a string and converted into a xml object using TeamSite::XMLnode->new($xml); The replacement text is loaded in from a file and is in German.

I also use HTML::Entities::encode($string); to encode the replacement text. However set_inner_xml does not understand the string and sets the value to blank.

If I do not encode the string then the DCR value is set but the DCR will not open .

Can someone please help me as I need a fix fast!

just to try to set it straight - have you tried setting inner XML with some English text and make it all work? If that's the case, then researching encoding will help. But it might as well be that you are not setting a correct XML to start with... at least that's what I suspect....
