for loop in FormAPI

Hi All,
I have some javascript code in my datacapture.cfg file. I have a for loop in the code.


var languages = new Array(3);
languages[0]="English";
languages[1]="French";
languages[2]="Portuguese";

for(var j=0; j < languages.length; j++){
//alert("OK");
}



However,the DCR doesn't load and it shows the following error.

Root cause:
Couldn't parse DCT bytes into DOM [datacapture.dct_parse.error.msg ]:Element type "languages.length" must be followed by either attribute specifications, ">" or "/>".

Does anyone know why I can't have the '<' sign in my javascript code?
I think the FormAPI translate that as a DCT item (because of the <).

Because it makes your DCT's XML malformed. Use &lt; instead or better yet abstract your Java Script
into js File and include it into DCT with the <script> Tag(s).

Actually, DCT Parser is the module that gets confused by your code, see above
