I am quite new to interwoven,

we need to find out is Interwoven able to pick up a document along with metadata(in a separate file) from a folder. (OR HOT FOLDER).

Could be please elaborate on the problem you are facing?

basically we have 2 files, 1 is an image(jpge,tiff) the other one is a text or XML file, which contains Metadata of that image, for example, if an image is a purchase ledger, the meta data file would contain

purchase ledger number
date
company .....

Now is there any way in Interwoven, through which it can pick up both these files and index the image according to metadata provided ?

1. Document Management
2. Content Integration
3. Digital Asset Management

Now if you a large repository of such assets, you could write a migration tool,which can associate the XML metadata to the corresponding asset and store in the above solutions.
