We're running TS 6.5 SP on Solaris 8. We were hoping to auto-start VisualFormat's "Check Spelling As You Type" feature, but it affects performance. Worse, unlike with Word, the mispelled words don't seem to be underlined in red as one types. Looks like only after one stops typing and then several seconds later that the spell-checking scan is performed. It's almost unusable!I tried adjusting the "delay" attribute of the "spellayt" element in the VF configuration file upwards and downwards, but wasn't able to tell which way was better.Any suggestions?Incidentally, the business requirement we have is to hit all the text/textarea fields with a spell-checker when the user attempts to save the DCR. We thought we'd try to appease the requesters by auto-enabling the Check Spelling As You Type feature. What to do in lieu of that? Write a CGI script to execute the UNIX "spell" command on the DCR at hand ; )?Thanks,S.
