Retrive the values from replicant

I have used replicant in my DCT file.
So in general when i retrive values we use

in case of replicants
i have to use
But i m able to retrive the value from the 1st feild only,
How to get those values??

You need to spend a bit more time reading the manuals, including the on-line ones at

http://your-server/iw/help/tst/pt

A replicant is a list - so you'd want to get the list of sub-nodes for your replicant and then loop through it to find the value of an individual member of that replicant for each of the instances.

Replicants are more like an array... as you do a looping thru to fetch all the values of an array, in the same way loop thru all the replicants and its children

Please try the same and if still you are not able to then , pls send me the code snippet of datacapture.cfg + what replicant/container field you want to retrive .

If you want to validate the container field using form API the you have to use

var item_cms1=IWDatacapture.getItem("/Story[1]/Paragraphs[1]/Paragraphs").getValue();

be careful about the [1] when you specify them. you can use a var for doing it in loop.
