Mount permissions

We are in the process of moving TeamSite 6.5 to a new server on Solaris 9. The move is completed and when testing the application a problem was discovered.

In our code, we are trying to get the extended attribute of a file, but we are getting the following error

The command and error are

./iwextattr -g TeamSite/Templating/DCR/Type /u03/opt/iwmnt/default/main/{workarea}/templatedata/TravelAdvisory/Advisory/data/NorthAmerica/test_advisory
[Fri Apr 20 11:19:20 2007] WARNING: Group buffer size should be 8192 bytes.
ERROR:02005: Error locating /u03/opt/iwmnt/default/main/{workarea}/templatedata/TravelAdvisory/Advisory/data/NorthAmerica/test_advisory

The file does exist on the following location as we tested on command

The code is working properly in the current production server

I have a feeling the server is not mounted with the correct permissions.

Please advise.

You should supply the vpath, which is the path without the mountpoint path, to TeamSite command line tools; for this example it would be:

iwextattr -g TeamSite/Templating/DCR/Type /default/main/WORKAREA/templatedata/TravelAdvisory/Advisory/data/NorthAmerica/test_advisory

We have this working with the complete path in production. So I do not believe a code change is necessary, should be a configuration in the server

It should be a vpath - regardless of whether it happens to work on your other server - however I think the problem with the group buffer thing is one that has been posted about and/or is know by IWOV Support - so I suggest you contact them if you cannot find a similar error message discussed in the forums.
