I am having trouble with a group task in the workflow for a new user.We have a group task in the workflow that is owned by our approval group.I have just added a new user (an editor) to the approval group, and when he goes to take ownership of the group task, he receives the "You do not have permission to work on this task" error message.He has no problem editing or adding new content to the workarea involved in this issue. When someone else adds/edits content to the workarea and runs the workflow, he gets the email along with the rest of the members of the group. Other members of this approval group have no problems with the workflow. I have triple-checked that all of his permissions match the permissions of the rest of his group.Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
Thank you for your response.It is a new job (created after he was added). It happens with every new job that goes to this approval group. He was added back a few weeks ago, and this has been happening since then, but he just reported it today. The sharedby element is defined by the group name, and he's in the group.
It's TeamSite 6.1, running on Win2K server. OS security. This user is member of approximately 10 groups.
