How to change the http port in the TS 6.7.1?

Hi,

TS 6.7.1

How can I change the http port for teamsite so as it will listen on different port than the regular port 80.

I changed the port numbers in iw.cfg (http_port) & iwwebd.conf (from port 80 to 82) & then ran iwreset. Its not working. Am I missing something here?

just iwreset ? or iwreset -a ?

The latter is needed.

I am sure it was iwreset-a.. but will try one more time. thought there might be some change related to port changing in new version.

I think you updated the wrong configuration file or its a typo. You need to update IW_HOME/iw-webd/conf/httpd.conf file. You can change the port number in IW_HOME/iw-webd/conf/httpd.conf.template and then run IW_HOME/iw-webd/bin/iwwebd_conf.ipl script to update the changes to httpd.conf file.

You should never touch IW_HOME/iw-webd/conf/httpd.conf.
All the changes has to be in the httpd.conf.template, since httpd.conf is generated from the template, upon every reset/restart.

If I remember correctly, the change in the /etc/iw.cfg should be picked up by the startup scripts.

Make sure you've changed 'http_port' not 'customer_webserver_port'

Hi,

No I didnt have any typo. I have following files in my folder (/opt/iw-home/iw-webd/conf),

rewrite.conf.template
iwwebd.conf.template
httpd-std.conf
rewrite.conf
iwwebd.conf

As it shows I do not have either httpd.conf or httpd.conf.template in this folder. I changed httpd-std.conf from port 80 to 82 (I have never seen this file before). & ran "iwreset -a".

Its working fine. But now, everytime I click on any link in TeamSite it removes the port number & I have to add it again & re-run the URL to get the result.

Also few things are probably definitely not working. Such as opening a DCR but that might be a different issue.
