Can we add 'edition' to workflow task

Hi

Using TS 6.1 Sol 5.8

Is it possible to add 'edition' to the workflow ? I tried to add edition to the workflow task . but it was giving bad area error during initiation of workflow.

Have anyone implemented it ...or had any requirement similar to this in which the use has to select files from Edition instead of Workarea.

You can not attach the EDITION to the worklfow, as both the STAGING and EDITION are read-only areas and files attached to worlfow are generally being used for editing and reviewing.

But still for a try with replacing WORKAREA/Content with EDITION/editionnumber within the file.

Hi Rohit,

You can attach files in the edition to the workflow task but while attaching you need to set the readonly attribute to true. I have done this before couple of times on TS(5.5.2 to 6.5) . Let me know if you get any problems.
