Selecting items in a DCT

Hi All

I have a datacapture.cfg where a radio button item gives options on and off in a container. An inline command includes an ipl file in the same container, following the radio button. The IPL file contains a list of items to be included in the datacapture.cfg file and this is done using the substitution element in the IPL file.
Is there a way that i can retrieve the value of the selected radio button in the IPL file (maybe similar to iwpt_dcr_value tags are used in presentation templates), that is the users slection (on or off) , so that this can be used to load different items or even invalidate some items in the DCR the user generates from the datacapture.cfg.

An inline command executes on load of the form and the value from the radio button can be changed after that by the user. My suggestion would be to re-think over your requirement and then... clear out your doubt over here.

One way of doing it... put all the elements within your datacapture.cfg and onChange of radio button value.. make the other set of items invisible.

You have to use FormsAPI for this purpose. The formsapi information is available in a PDF which is available among the FormsPublisher PDFs . You need to know work on javascripting for this and create a .js file corresponding to the datacapture.cfg file .Then do as told by Kalra.
Do not consider the components in the ipl file as something too alienated to be used in any special way.Use the container in the ipl file as the sub-container to the one present in the datacapture.cfg file while creating the .js file.
