Generate Error - Please select one and only one form entry to generate from

I am experiencing problems regenerating and generating pages. When I try to generate a page I get a message "Please select one and only one form entry to generate from". I am not prompted for which presentation template to use. I am selecting (in gui) the DCR and then selecting the menu option to generate the page.

I am stumped. Any ideas?

which browser do you use?

We have experienced such problems with Firefox, but the same was working with IE. Very strange error message by the way. And I do not know why this happens, but I did no research too.

I figured it out.

I have a file that gets included into the template (I use - ). Someone deleted the file and caused the problem.

Any one know how I can 'catch' the error or display an error message if I have an include and the file does not exist?

As a guess - the only way you're likely to get to the actual error would be to run iwpt_compile.ipl with the -ocode flag and then attempt to compile (with warnings) the generated .ipl file.

The only other way I can think of would be to code in tests prior to the inclusion to test the existence of the to-be-included file before including it - and if it doesn't exist to generate some sort of error (depending on the context, the error could be an alert, or it could be text that gets inserted into the actual generated content or perhaps something else)

The same error occured for me. The problem in my case was not handling the onGenerate hook properly in the javascript.
