Is there an easy way to insert equations into the VF?

Using MS Equation Editor, you get an image, but Word never lets you save the image, so the equation is lost ...

This sounds interesting but could you provide a bit more background information on what you are trying to do?

Why don't u save the image as some jpeg or something for that matter and put it back in the VFE, that should work, what file does the MS equation editor gives??

Provide screenshot if possible.

- Open up any DCR with a VF field
- Click "Edit with word" on the VF toolbar
- Insert equation using MS Equation Editor
- It turns out that, equation editor converts the equation to an image, and embeds it into the page
- The only way to do this, is copy-paste into the an image editor and save/upload the image, and then insert it with the VF (Quite difficult process for a regular TS user)

- Close Word window, the content is converted to HTML and equation is lost

I can't say this surprises me too much - equations are complex items with respect to fonts and type-setting and such - and are not likely to be handled well by HTML (which has problems with simple fonts and type-settings ;-)
