Missing log file (iwjoberrors.log)

Hi,

I have problem locating the error log file (iwjoberros.log and iwtrace.log), according to manual it is supposed to be in IW_HOME\local\logs, but I do not find there.

Would like to know if anybody can help to me set the log file or how to trigger the file to log errors with respect to worklow execution?

Check your iw.cfg file. Log file location will be mentioned over there.

on my system iwjoberrors.log is in iwhome/local/logs

However that can be changed in iw.cfg

It also provides limited use (IMHO) since there is not that much stored there.

The iwtrace.log (which was mentioned in the original post) generally has a lot of information in it.
The iwjoberrors.log, I believe, will only get created / updated if there is a logic error within the WFT itself (like mismatched tags? or references to non-existant successor or predecessor tasks? or something like that)

I did get it worked and yes, it logs the messages only where there is problem in the logic or XML syntax.
