I just inherited some codes. What this regex will do?

I'm getting this error.
The Interwoven Web Daemon was unable to contact the Interwoven Proxy Server. The Interwoven Proxy Server may be down, or running on an unexpected host or port.

Please contact your system administrator.

Good question. As near as I can tell that does not do anything. I think the error is unrelated to this remap.

Is your proxy running ? What port ?

Individually this regex does not make too much sense. If your resource matches, *remapped* entry will contain an exact copy of matched Path.

In a set of remap regexes that may become clearer. In theory, you may use something like that to exclude certain assets
from remapping (by forcing an early match thus preventing applying of following regexes). That said, it would be extremely sloppy way
to achieve this sort of filtering.

That is not the proxy server that is the webserver. The error you posted says that servletd cannot communicate to the proxy (usually on port 1080).

That actually seems to do something constructive (unlike the previous one), exactly what it does I am not certain except that I assume it is one of the old app server Turbos. Do you use ATG, EBA, or WebSphere ?

The regex matches Path + URL separately and rearranges them as "Redirect" action parameters. Like that:

/iw-mount/default/main/B0/B1/WORKAREA/foo/moo/whatever.pdf Translates to:
http://localhost:8080/iw/tsadmin/turbo/TurboServlet?action=Redirect&vpath=/default/main/B0/B1/WORKAREA/foo&url=moo/whatever.pdf

/iw-mount/default/main/B0/B1/STAGING/moo/whatever.pdf Translates to:
http://localhost:8080/iw/tsadmin/turbo/TurboServlet?action=Redirect&vpath=/default/main/B0/B1/STAGING&url=moo/whatever.pdf

If you can not read regular expressions you should not mess with Proxy configuration in the first place

Check if the service "Interwoven Servlet Engine" has been started successfully.
Just wondering was the hostname or IP changed ?
