Is deployment within livesite okay?

Hi.

I'm trying to run an areaDiff deployment. I'm getting a Receiver-ERROR: [Y:\livesite\main ... ] is not an allowed deployment path.

If I change the deployment path to a path within /default/main/ ... it works.

Am I getting this error because we can't do a deployment within a livesite branch?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

What is the actual target path you are trying to deploy into?
What are the allowed paths specified in the OD server configuration file (odbase.xml or odrcvr.xml)?
