Find and Replace

Hi,

I have a requirement to find "content" and replace from the dcr or apply this in bunch of dcr as I know it is not in TeamSite and I have some thought that how to develop but if somebody has this kind of functionality already in placed, please let me know how you proceed on this and how much it is effective.

My environment is Solaris 5.8 and TeamSite 6.5

Have you tried reading about TeamSite:: DCRNode.

Even perl regex can be handy sometimes, depending on your exact requirement.

Regex itself are very easy, check the perl forum for some examples.

However regex also have a habit of changing things you may not have planned to change. I would suggest that you post the DCR before and after, and someone can help with the regex. You should be able to write the rest.

I have attached the beginings of some code that I wrote to perform this functionality. Add it to an menu as a custom menu option. To use, place checks in your DCR(s) then use the menu item. It's pretty rough, but give you the basics. If you make a real nice version of it, make sure you post it up here for everyone.
