timezone deployment

Hi,

I think timezone deployment is not available in OD, is there anyway that we can tirgger this activity or do i need to write a workflow which calculate different timezone.

Well - you're probably right that it's not available OOTB - but could you perhaps explain in more detail what you're trying to do?

Also - what platform / OS are you working with for the OD Base Server?

Actually I have promotions content which go live based on timezone EST and Atlantic time so when user set the Atlantic timezone it goes live according to Atlantic timezone and when user set the EST time, it goes live EST time. or if User set time then content would be deployed according to EST timezone and Atlantic timezone.
As it seems that I need to make calculation in the script to implement this but would like to know good approach that what is the best way to implement this.

You could try looking at Date::Manip and having it figure out what time zone is being used and what timezone you want to use for scheduling your deployment and then issue the appropriate command to do so using relative time units from "now".

Not sure what else to suggest because I still don't understand the problem sufficiently --- and I'm busy doing other things right now ...
