Do Deletes

Hi,

I know this is the most riskiest part of Ope-Deploy. But we do have a requirement to clean-up the target servers. I have tried putting the dodeletes="yes" in the transfer rules tag of the target. But it doesnt seem to work

The teamsite area has some test content which is also present in the target server. On deleting the content from the Team-site area and on running the deployement, the files should disappear in the target servers. But nothing is happening.

Any suggestions???

Goks It should delete. Check another attribute dontDo which is there along with dodeletes.

Did you use

dodeletes

doDeletes

as the attribute name? The former is incorrect and will have no effect, the latter is correct and should enable deletion of files on the target side that do not exist on the source side - however, there are other determining factors involved and being able to see the full configuration file will help to figure out if there are any other such factors involved with your deployment.
