FormsPublisher: Preview And Generate Error

I am trying to generate a JSP file. I have set it up to work in templating.cfg with this:

<template name="press-release.tpl" extension="jsp">

Now I get the below error from the browser in a javascript style alert box (This is a different message than the teamsite style one that would occur before I added the above snippet warning me that the only valid file type is html. That is now resolved.):

FormsPublisher: Preview And Generate
Error: Not a valid extension. Valid extension for press-release.tpl is: html

TS 6.5

What must I alter to avoid this?

Modify 'templating.cfg' File, template Tag's 'extension' attribute for this particular type

I have made that change...is there more than one place where it is required?

The error in my last post is what i get for a .jsp extension. I have attached in this post the error I get for a .html extension.

There must be some problem(s) with your own customization. Only second screen shot is genuine TS and it correctly indicates jsp.

Are you trying to be able to generate both "*.html" and "*.jsp" pages from the same PT?

I don't believe that is supported (directly) - if you use iwpt_compile.ipl or iw_ostream tags within your PT you can probably do that - but for basic page generation (iwgen and iwregen) you must make sure that the intended output file name has the extension specified in the templating.cfg for that particular PT.

This is actually a fairly common requirement. My last gig was a JSP and HTML site, menus, top nav, footers, etc were identical but you needed both, JSP and HTML (actually SHTML) so they could be loaded.

Yes you are correct we needed to use ostream to make the 2nd copy and some custom code in the WF to make certain all the required files were pushed.
