Callserver Multiselect issue

Hi there,

My ENV : Windows, TS 6.7.1

I am using callserver to fill the multiselect box based on the parent select box selected value.
Its working fine. But when I try to open the existing dcr, the values in the multiselect box is not showing the label. Instead its showing the value.

Example :

<option selected="t" value="Sunnyvale" label="Sunnyvale, CA"/>
<option value="Bathesda" label="Bathesda, NC"/>
<option value="NewYork" label="New York City, NY"/>
<option value="Vancouver" label="Vancouver, Canada"/>

These tags are formed via call server

Scenario 1: New form entry
All the labels are properly getting filled in the multiselect box based on the parent select box value.

Scenario 2 : Open existing DCR

All the values of the corresponding labels are only filled instead of the label names.

Here I am attaching the ipl, datacapture.cfg and a sample dcr.

Your help on this is highly appreciated.

You call 'fillcontent' on two events: OnItemChange and onReplicantAdded. None of this happens upon opening of existing DCR.

There is no need for those two events to be fired. The saved values in the dcr will be filled in the multiselect box. Here its filling fine, but the problem is instead of the label names , the corresponding value is getting filled since only the value is getting saved while saving the dcr.

I need the label names to be filled in the multiselect box while opening the existing dcrs instead of the values for it which is happening now.

You do not seem to understand how Event registry and Event Handlers work.

You populate drop-down using 'fillcontent' function (callServer and all).
The way you've coded 'Init' function 'fillcontent' does not get called when you open an existing DCR.
