Unable to publish editions

Teamsite Version: 5.5.2.0

Hi there!

I'm trying to Publish using the Teamsite GUI.

However the branch I am publishing doesn't list any previous editions and throws the following error

SCI Error: "No edition found" in pgwriter3.cpp:138
sci_FindEditionByID(fSCISession, &fServer, &archiveID, &brInfo.lastedition, &edInfo)
Server version: 5.5.2

Other branches are publishing without any problems.

Any comments appreciated.

Are you not getting your baseline edition listed as well?

All editions, including the baseline edition, are gone from the GUI.

Older editions are physically still on the server.

I've never run across this. Sounds like something wacky with the store. I would open a support case with iwov.

Definitely... a support issue. Something might got corrupted.

Well - 552 is no longer a supported version, so getting help from Support for this might not be trivial.

Have you tried to create an edition for this branch from the command line - using the iwpublish CLT?

If that doesn't work - hopefully you'll get some better diagnostic output - and if you're doing this in an effort to upgrade Support might be willing to put some effort into helping you get over that hurdle.

If it does work from the command line - but still doesn't seem to work from the GUI - you'll probably just have to live with it until you upgrade (though it doesn't hurt to ask Support - just don't hold your breath)

we are using TS 5.5.2, and working on an upgrade to TS 6.5 SP2... i had a case last week with the support about a problem i had with ts 5.5.2 and they did help me... so you should ask the support's help as long as u are planning an upgrade!
