"Log Permissions Disabled"

Has anyone seen this issue -

iw-webd on TS 6.7.1 windows is crashing.

This is what I see in the Windows EventViewer :

The Apache service named reported the following error:
>>> Unable to open logs .

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

In iwtrace.log I notice this message :

...
[Wed May 09 21:00:44 2007] Log Permissions Disabled
...

Other than that I do not see anything else that is of concern in any of the logs.

Has anyone seen this?

I got a blue screen of death some time back on this box (not related to Teamsite - teamsite is only started on this box when needed). I think some aspect of Windows networking is the culprit, but I don't know where to start.

Any ideas?

Can you check the Windows System Event log again for any
Filesystem(ntfs) errors ?
Is this Win 2003EE ? And do you have a Firewall/AV installed ?

I noticed some strange processes binding to various ports.
I ran a virus checker (trend micro house call -it's free and online) and detected a couple of spyware and some viruses. I still had problems removing some nasty dlls. rebooted windows in safe mode to remove them.

Now iwwebd starts up.

The strange part was that the processes were called "firefox.exe", "inetserv", etc (normal processes) and would span right back if I tried to kill them from the task manager (this is after uninstalling firefox).
