Restoring Deleted dcr

Hi,
I am facing an issue while restoring a deleted dcr.A dcr is deleted from both WORKAREA and STAGING.To restore the dcr i selected "View All and Deleted Files" from the "View" menu and tried to restore a deleted file using "Restore" link but i am getting " Unable to locate previous version " error.So can you please tell me how to get back the deleted dcr.

Do you have Editions ? You can start looking at those. Otherwise, I *think* you can try iwattrib, but again you might need to use the Editions or hidden Editions

The unsupported method... is to create any test DCR within the same data type named - only_test. Assuming that the DCR you need to retreive has the name as - recovered_test.

Now.. go to the folder, within File menu.. Rename and give the new name as recovered_test. This would automatically fetch the version and history of the file.. from the backing store or editions if any.

The editions that are present are created after the deletion of dcr.So the editions does not contain the deleted dcr.But when i check "View All and Deleted Files" for the edition , i was able to see the deleted dcr with red cross.
So can you please tell me is there any way to get back the deleted dcr.

If you see it with a red cross (in CCPro UI) - try selecting it (checkbox to left) and then look for options in the menus or actions links for restoring it.

Note this assumes that your TeamSite role is at least Editor

Not sure if we can even restore the DCR without editions in place.
