folder vpath

Hi there,

Need to get the whole path of the file that has been submitted through the workflow.
e.g. result
/default/main/Articles/WORKAREA/Common/ArticlesFolder/Subfolder/subsubfolder.

__TAG__('iw_workarea'); will only provide until common /default/main/Articles/WORKAREA/Common. I need thw whole path.

Please advise thanks!

Please attach your category and data type along with. On the other way round... get the filepath from task files and split it with '/' and use the array elements to get the complete path.

yup.. i though about that.. I just though there's a teamsite reserved word for getting the whole vpath.

yup.. i though about that.. I just though there's a teamsite reserved word for getting the whole vpath.

Either you can get a Workarea path or the file path... after that its logic to implement.

Basically base on first level folder I will run external task. That's the reason I need the whole path.

Are you talking about the paths of the files that are attached to the workflow or the actual directory in which the workflow was initiated?

I'm guessing the latter - and unfortunately I don't have anything running right now to try things out - in CGI scripts I believe it is $cgi->{form}{'cwd.vpath'} - you might try seeing if __VALUE__('cwd.vpath'); produces anything worthwhile (I'm assuming you're doing this within the template_script section, and thus use __VALUE__ -- otherwise use __TAG__ -- in either case, you should probably enable workflow debugging so that you can see how the information is getting evaluated without have to actually instantiate the workflow ...
