how to display Korean chars on PT?

Hi,
I am looking for how to display korean chars on PT.
As the Presentation template generates HTML which is able to display English content got from SQL db. but for Korean/Japanese it shows ???.
This db connection is made in perl script which picks up data and shows on PT. The perl script uses a DBI module to interact with DB.

Anyone have any idea?

I believe you need to make sure your interaction with the DB is done with UTF-8 and that you need to specify the character encoding to use in your web page via the meta tags or some such (you may have to do encoding translation within the code too, to translate between UTF-8 and whatever you want/need to use for Korean.

There have been several posts / threads over the last couple of years (and at least one I believe this last week) about managing proper encoding when dealing with DB data retrieval using DBI -- try searching the forums a bit to see if you can locate any of those posts, which might provide you sufficient pointers for resolving your issues.
