Delete editions per date/age batch

Hi

We are running TS 6.1 on Windows 2003 server. (Soon to be upgraded to latest version of TS)
I have 1000+ editions in several branches which I need to delete, but I don't want to delete them manually in CCPro.

How can I set up a script/batch which will delete all editions older than lets say 1 year.

Can I just delete them as normal windows folders, and thats it, or do i need to use special TS commands?
The first run will take long, but then I can set it up as a schedule.

Hope someone can help clearing this one.

You have to use TS command[Don't know exactly refer doc long back forgot], and you need find some way to delete editions, let's say older than some day.

branchvpath edition this is the command to remove the edition, regarding the condition when to run this command, you can use it as cron job or through any of the publish workflow where you are creating new edition.
