Error After Author Work.

I have a simple question, i haven't noticed this since a longtime. Say you have a simple workflow, Author submits, it sends an email to approver, approver submits and it is in prod, if he rejects it back to author work. Simples workflow of all.

So say i have submitted a dcr along with generated html as an author, my approver rejected it and email is sent to me, i have clicked Edit from my email and editted the file and clicked finish, this will take me to next screen "Submit Now" with other field reading this "TaskID: Author Work". By default you would select this and hit NExt, here one will enter task comments and hit finish. When you hit finish it always throws and error saying that "Author Work" is no more active, which in this case is true. How to get rid of that error?
