Unable to Preview DCR

Hi,

I made changes to DCR and saved it. But while trying to preview that saved DCR using presentation template, general.tpl, I am getting below error message,

"TeamSite Templating - Template Preview and Generate
Error: Unable to preview. Unable to retrieve preview directory for the presentation template general.tpl".

However, when I try to preview the same DCR using another template, generaltab.tpl located under that datatype, I am able to successfully preview it.

can anyone throw light on this?

On the first check the external attributes of the DCR. Secondly check for templating.cfg as what is being defined against category and data type.

Here is the rocking solution

IN Templating.cfg Check the preview-dir attribute of the template thats working.

Use the same preview-dir attribute value for non working template. I cant remember the exact reason why this happens. Anyone?
