AJAX Technology with Teamsite

Hi,

Does any one know , whether AJAX technology works with Interwoven Teamsite. I know till IW 6.5 , AJAX was not supported.But just wanted to reconfirm whether atleast new releases of IW 6.7, is AJAX supported ????

in which part of teamsite would you like to use AJAX?

How and where do you want to use the XMLHttpResponse javascript object?

FormsPublisher in 6.7.1 uses it to some extent - but nothing that's exposed via FormAPI

To what level in Form Publisher,we can make use of AJAX.
i think it is still immature to believe AJAX suported in Teamsite.

Any thoughts........?

I don't think AJAX is can be used in Teamsite, mainly use of AJAX would to make a call to an external application (XMLHTTPRequest/Response) which here in Teamsite is done through callserver() so...

If you're talking about website pages on your production servers - TeamSite's ability (or lack thereof) to deal with AJAX shouldn't matter. That's an issue for your web servers (probably including your "customer web server" used by TS to preview pages).

If you're talking about customizations to the TeamSite GUI - that's an issue with respect to TeamSite's ability (or lack thereof) to deal with AJAX.
