Persistent Minimize of Containers

In WSMP Web Components is there a way to keep certain containers minimized in a workspace? For example, let's say I have a "Contacts" container that is rarely used so I want the default view for all members to collapse the contacts container. It seems that containers will stay collapse for a user within a session but once you log off and log back in the containers expand again.
