Taking long time to upload and download the PPT,PDF,XLS in Mediabin

Scenario,

While uploading/downloading the PPT,XLS,PDF files(apart from image files) into the mediabin , the processing time is taking atleast five minutes minimum. But when i upload or download the image files(may be the capacity greater than the document files like ppt, pdf) the time consuming is very less. I dont know why it is taking this much of time to download the document files. Can any one suggest me in this regards.

My system service pack is 1. Is it depends on this. Please suggest me. Waiting for the response.

What version of MB and do you have BlackIce printer driver installed and configured correctly on the server alongwith Acrobat reader and MS Office? These are all the requirements for them to work correctly. And how big are these files?

One quick addendum. For MB 4.5.3 and before, the upload and download time will be more or less symmetrical unless one uses the (Get Original) task. For MediaBin 4.6, the (None) task is much faster.

Thanks for your support and response.. I have changed the setting in the printer as per the administration guide. Then i have removed '%4' in the Registry as per the previous mentioned forum also. Now i can able to upload the PDF files and it is not taking that much time.. Once again thanks for your help..
