Login Screen not comming |

HI

Using TS 6.5 SP 1 Win 2003.

The login screen of teamsite is not comming up . In windows services I saw that 'TeamSite Web Daemon' is not running.

When I tried to start it manually got error "some service stop automatically if they have no work to do"

Searched the windows event log for 'Apache Services'.
Following error message was there

The Apache service named c:\iw-home\iw-webd\iwwebd.exe reported the following error:
>>> [Sat Jan 20 22:24:34 2007] [warn] pid file c:/iw-home/iw-webd/logs/httpd.pid overwritten -- Unclean shutdown of previous Apache run? <<<
before the error.log file could be opened.
More information may be available in the error.log file. .

In error.log following message was there :

[Sat Jan 20 22:24:34 2007] [crit] (2)No such file or directory: make_sock: could not bind to port 80
[Sat Jan 20 22:33:40 2007] [crit] (2)No such file or directory: make_sock: could not bind to port 80


I think the service is not running on port 80 because of which this problem has arise.

Has anyone got the same problem ? Please let me knw the sollution.

Do you have IIS installed? Is it running on port 80? If so - you need to change it to run on some other port (like 81) so that 80 is free for iwwebd - alternatively configure iwwebd to run on a different port, but that's not usually a good idea as it makes it more difficult for users to access it.
