Workarea vpath not passed via new_job in 6.5 SP2

Bill Klish

TeamSite 6.5 SP2
Solaris 9

When in CC Pro, and inside a workarea within the content tab, if I choose Action --> New Job, the workarea path is no longer being passed. We used to have it pre-populated on our job definition screen, but now it is coming back blank.

I did a view source of the job definition screen page and that value is no longer included as a hidden form field. This was working before we upgraded to SP2 recently.

Is this to be expected in sp2?

probably you're facing this bug

* Bug ID 62527
Fix for iw_branch and iw_workarea are not passed into iwwft_instantiator when
no file is selected and user is in CCpro content tab while starting new
workflow job.
Platform(s): Generic

It was fixed in one of the first patches coming after SP2. E.g. we have patchID 1614 installed (for ts65sp2 solaris), and it is fixed. All patches are incremental, so you can choose to install just the latest one, and you should be good.

Perfect.

Thanks.
